Description: This is a rare and highly sought-after Miller Dunn Divinhood Style 2 diving helmet, produced in the 1920s by the Miller Dunn Company in Miami, Florida. Known for its unique design and historical significance, the Style 2 Divinhood was the US Navy’s standard shallow water helmet during its time.

  • Material: Copper body with brass hardware
  • Windows: Two large, angled glass windows on the front, protected by brass bars

  • Identification: Clear and legible brass ID plate
  • Additional Details: Original brass hex bolts, window guards, and air fitting in good condition. The brass carry handle on top is slightly bent, and there are minor bends on the copper body.

Historical Significance: The Miller Dunn Style 2 Divinhood was introduced in 1925 and quickly became popular among civilian and military divers.
